Homecare Team Leaders
(Evenings and Weekends)
(Liverpool, Sefton, Wirral, Knowsley)
Salary: Office Shifts £8.00 per hour Community Care £6.80 per hour
Local Solutions Homecare Service requires enthusiastic,
self-motivated individuals to lead a team of care support staff and
to co-ordinate a range of personalised care and social support to
vulnerable people of all ages in the community who suffer from
health related or mobility problems. You will provide a
caring and supportive service, which enables service users to reach
their full potential in all aspects of their lives.
The job role will predominately be office based however there will
be a degree of community based work including the provision of
direct contact care to service users. For applicants that
require further hours you can also provide further services
providing direct care and support if you wish to do so. A
caring and professional attitude is essential along with being able
to work in a busy environment. We require someone who is a
team player, flexible, organised and is able to work well under
pressure. We are looking for a person with good
administrative, co-ordination and IT skills and with experience
working in a health and/or social care setting.
The successful candidates will act as a point of contact and
support for service users and care support staff, co-ordinating
resources and team systems, enabling the team to achieve compliance
with all aspects of business. You will have good
communication skills, the ability to meet the demands of working in
an extremely busy and diverse environment and represent the
department with tact and diplomacy.
Previous experience is not essential, however the ideal candidate
must be able to work on their own initiative in a demanding work
area, and additionally be prepared to work on a shift pattern and
rota system as flexible working is a requirement of the job
role. Applicants must have use of a private vehicle and have
access to a mobile telephone. A comprehensive training
and induction programme will be provided.
