Head of Business Development
LOCATION: MVG, Liverpool
HOURS: Full Time
SALARY: Circa £45,000 - £49,000 Depending on Experience & Qualifications
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic third sector organisation as Head of Business Development. Reporting to the CEO, the successful applicant will become an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team working to ensure the growth and development of existing services and new opportunities across the charity.
We are looking for someone with excellent leadership and business development skills who can identify opportunities, provide support and direction to departmental leads, working strategically. This post requires a person who is a creative/strategic thinker who can motivate, embrace, influence the organisation.
You will be adept at managing multi - priorities, able to work well under pressure with excellent attention to detail, have experience in designing and developing high qualty services and initiatives.
Key Elements of the role:
> Coordinating and leading on strategic development activity.
> Identifying funding opportunities inline with strategic priorities.
> Leading on complex and priority grant applications.
> Development of relationships, partnerships and Collaboration opportunities.
> Oversight and support of tendering processes.
> Development of Social Enterprise activity.
Applicants should have a degree or equivalent qualification or three years’ senior management experience in Business Development or related discipline..
