We are looking to recruit a Mytime Development Worker to work closely with our delivery partners and local businesses to bring together an offer that will allow carers to take some time out for themselves. The ideal candidate will be a great communicator with a passion for helping others. Someone who is keen to develop the Mytime service within the Wigan borough to provide carers with the respite they need to continue to be effective in their role.
You will develop a marketing strategy and produce a portfolio of Mytime offers for carers, promoting the service through media channels and our company website. You will also undertake the necessary administrative duties to support the effective coordination of the scheme.
Being a carer can have a huge impact on someone’s life including effecting your relationships, finances and confidence. Mytime works with businesses and organisations offering complimentary leisure, cultural and educational activities to connect unpaid carers who would benefit with a break from their demanding roles. Our aim is to make these breaks available to as many carers as possible as the positive effects they can have are outstanding.
