Out of Hours Care Coordinator (Evenings and Weekends)

 

LOCATION: Homecare - Scotland Road 

HOURS: 26 hours per week

SALARY: £16.326.83 per annum pro rata

You will take on the role of an Out of Hours Care Coordinator. This role includes:

  • Overseeing service continuity during the evenings and weekends 
  • Providing customer support to service users and care staff delivery
  • Liaising with appropriate health and social care professionals to ensure that the service is effective and responsive

We are looking for someone with the experience and qualities below:

  • Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification in health and social care 
  • 3 years' experience in a social care setting
  • Who can maintain accurate knowledge of relevant legislation where applicable
  • An understanding of and experience in working in accordance with CQC regulations
  • An ability to empower staff and delegate effectively, where appropriate 
  • An ability to lead, inspire, motivate and develop staff at all levels 
  • An effective decision maker, with direction appropriate 
  • A commitment to quality, customer service, best practice and best value in all aspects of the organisations operation
  • Someone who is able to work unsociable hours 
  • A confident communicator 
  • An ability to work under pressure and to work to strict deadlines
  • A high level of self-discipline and organisation skills
  • Someone who is committed to the vision and values of the company

33 tenants from Plus Dane and First Ark’s sheltered schemes enjoyed trying out activities at Liverpool Watersports Centre in two taster afternoons. Everyone enjoyed speeding down to Albert Dock in the Sir Bert Massie Wheelyboat and trying out the rafted canoes. They then made the most of the café with its fantastic views of the waterfront and people enjoying different activities on the water.
