Bank Care Support Workers (Homecare)

 

LOCATION: Merseyside
SALARY: £8.21 per hour weekdays & £8.56 per hour weekends/ Enhanced rates for night shifts / 15p mile mileage - £17,222 per annum (pro-rata)

 

We are looking for people who are hard-working and passionate about people but who cannot commit to regular hours of work. This would be the ideal role for people who are studying but who would like to work outside of college hours and terms times, or for people who want to supplement an existing income from time to time.

 

You don’t need to be experienced, we will support you to complete your care certificate to prepare you for the role. We will make sure that your training is kept up to date and we can support you to complete qualifications in health and social care if you are looking to develop your career.

 

Bank Care Support Workers provide practical support and personal care to individuals within their own homes as part of Homecare .  In addition, the role involves encouraging social inclusion within the community or assisting with the service user’s independence to ensure that their dignity is maintained whilst receiving assistance.  Care Support Workers assist a diverse range of service user groups within the local community who are benefitting from the tailor-made care packages on offer. 

Dependent on the cover required, there could be opportunities for work during the day, evenings, weekends and during the night in the following areas:

 

North Liverpool and South Liverpool

 

St Helens: Including areas such as Newton Le Willows, Earlestown, Sutton, and Clockface

 

Sefton: including areas such as Maghull, Lydiate, Melling, Aintree, and Bootle

 

Knowsley: including areas such as Kirkby, Northwood, Westvale and Towerhill

 

A driving license and use of a vehicle is preferable, however there are opportunities for non-drivers also.
