SALARY: £21,932.76 per annum
Local Solutions Homecare Service requires a full-time an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to manage a team of care support staff and to co-ordinate a comprehensive range of personalised care and social support to vulnerable people of all ages in the community who suffer from health related or mobility problems.
You will provide a caring and supportive service, which enables service users to reach their full potential in all aspects of their lives. Previous experience is not essential, however you must be able to drive and there is a requirement for flexibility around some weekend and out of hours working.
A caring and professional attitude is essential along with being able to work in a busy environment, we require someone who is a team player, flexible, organised and is able to work well under pressure. We are looking for a person with excellent administrative, co-ordination and IT skills and with experience working in a health and/or social care setting.
The successful candidate will act as a central contact point for an allocated service user group and team of care support staff, co-ordinating resources and team systems, enabling the team to achieve compliance with all aspects of business. You will have good communication skills, the ability to meet the demands of working in an extremely busy and diverse environment and represent the department with tact and diplomacy. Applicants must have use of a private vehicle and have access to a mobile telephone. A comprehensive training and induction programme will be provided.
