Location: Denbighshire and Flintshire 

Salary : £21,281.58 pa

Local Solutions are looking to recruit a nightstop coordinator to be responsible for the development, management and coordination of both Supported Lodgings and Nightstop services in Denbighsire and Flintshire.

 

LOCATION: Scotland Road Liverpool

HOURS: 16 hours per week

Night Support Worker
LOCATION: Homeground Hostel, Scotland Road
HOURS: Full Time (4 on 4 off)

Care Support Workers provide practical support and personal care to individuals within their own homes as part of Homecare Kirkby & Sefton. In addition, the role involves encouraging social inclusion within the community or assisting with the service user’s independence to ensure that their dignity is maintained whilst receiving assistance. Care Support Workers assist a diverse range of service user groups within the local community who are benefitting from the tailor made care packages on offer.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic charity to play a key role in supporting young people aged 16 -21 in to placements with householders.

The Nightstop service provides emergency accommodation for young people aged 16 -21 with householders throughout the borough. The supported lodgings service provides longer term accommodation and assists young people aged 16- 21 to develop the necessary skills required for independent living. 

Roles include:

  • Recruitment,training &support of householders
  • Completing appropriate risk assessment & checks
  • Undertaking young people (YP) assessments &support planning
  • Encouraging YP's to access other services
  • Mediation where appropriate

Applicants should also be able to prove assessment, mediation and crisis intervention skills.You should have a minimum of NVQ L3 or equivalent in a care discipline and direct experience of working with YP. You will be expected to work collaboratively with other agencies to enable the continued development and growth of the service. 

Post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure.

Applicants need a current driving licence and use of a private vehicle.

Post is subject to flexible working and will require some working outside of normal business hours - this could be up to 7 pm when placing a young person.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic charity and play a key role in the community mentoring care support workers, dealing with breakdowns in the community, starting new care packages, completing observations and supervision in the community to ensure a safe, effective and quality caring service is delivered.

LOCATION: Scotland Road, Liverpool
SALARY: £ 7.83 per hour

Homeground urgently requires Bank Project Workers to provide support to homeless young people accommodated within the hostel. You will be expected to work with residents to develop the skills needed to promote them into independent living. Experience of working with young people is desirable, preferably within a residential setting. Ideally you should have a background within a care discipline.

SALARY: £8.40 per hour weekdays & £8.70 per hour weekends plus 30p/mile mileage

Shifts: 10pm-8am

Mobile Night Care Support Workers provide practical support and personal care to individuals within their own homes across Liverpool. Mobile Night Care Support Workers assist a diverse range of service user groups within the local community who are benefitting from the tailor made care packages  on offer. Driver’s are essential for this role and petrol allowance is included. As this is evening work, our Mobile Night Care Support workers will be on an enhanced rate of pay.
