The symbol is awarded by Jobcentre Plus to those employers who have demonstrated a commitment to recruiting disabled employees and developing their skills and prospects.
Cyber Essentials
Local Solutions are accredited with the Cyber Essentials implementation profile [BIS/14/696]. This accreditation recognises we take security seriously across all IT systems.
Gold RoSPA
Local Solutions is a member of RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) and holds a Gold award. RoSPA Gold Award winners have achieved a very high level of performance, demonstrating well developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture, outstanding control of risk and very low levels of error, harm and loss.
Matrix quality standard for information advice and guidance services
Local solutions was successfully assessed against the Matrix Standard in June 2019, having previously held the accreditation since 2008. The Matrix Standard is the quality standard for information, advice and guidance services and the Matrix Standard Assessment Services has accredited Local Solutions' Training Department.
Disability Confident Employer
Local Solutions has been awarded the Disability Confident Employer kitemark for a further 2 years. This has been awarded after the organisation has undertaken and completed the self-assessment and taken the core actions required to be a Disability Confident employer. In continuing the Disability Confident journey, we are ensuring that disabled people and those with long term health conditions have the opportunities to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations.
