Local Solutions Fostering

We are currently developing a new Fostering service. The service will utilise the skills we've gained from our work with young people to provide robust wrap around support, care, encouragement and value.

Local Solutions Fostering Service will be a non-profit Charitable Foster Care Provider, offering fostering placements across Merseyside with a focus on the 11+ age range.

It is our aim to recruit and work with foster carers to offer high quality local foster placements for children from the Merseyside area. We aim to provide foster carers who understand the culture of the local area and the challenges young people from Merseyside face. We will achieve this by ensuring that we recruit foster carers to the highest standards whilst providing an excellent level of training and support. At Local Solutions we can draw on our own existing services working with young people to underpin placements and provide a high quality of wrap around care, ensuring that outcomes are improved for young people who are subject to the care system.

We endeavour to deliver the highest standards of care for children and young people placed within our service.

Local Solutions Fostering Service endeavour to deliver services to children and young people so they can develop and grow within the five key outcomes areas of “Every Child Matters” which are :

  • Be healthy
  • Stay safe
  • Enjoy and achieve
  • Make a positive contribution
  • Achieve economic wellbeing
