Local Solutions has been awarded the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Medal Award for Health & Safety performance. The Gold Medal Award is given to organisations that have achieved 5-9 Gold Awards. This is Local Solutions 6th year receiving the Gold Award.
The RoSPA Awards scheme, which receives entries from organisations around the world, recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
We believe that everybody has the right to work in a safe environment without becoming ill or injured whilst doing their job. This belief also extends to visitors to our workplace, that is why we take the necessary precautions to create that safe environment.
The continued receipt of this award is a real testament to the work of our Health & Safety team. Like many the pandemic posed many challenges to ensuring our workspaces were a safe place to be but the receipt of the award has provided the recognition of how well the team has done at adapting to face these challenges.
Commenting on the receipt of the award, Ursula Harrison our Health & Safety Officer said:
With the diverse range of services’ the organisation delivers, no 2 days are ever the same and with the Covid19 pandemic it’s certainly being a challenging year for health and safety.
This is why I am very proud that Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) have awarded Local Solutions their 6th consecutive gold award for Health and Safety performance for 2020.
