Fresh meals to support local people

During the pandemic, residents at our Plas Bellin and Sunraye hostels have been receiving fresh cooked meals from 'Nanny Biscuit' who have been in conjunction with Moneysupermarket to support vulnerable people in Flintshire. All of us here at Local Solutions are very grateful for their support.

Nanny Biscuit are a Flintshire based charity that is run for the people of Flintshire and by the people of Flintshire. During the pandemic their wonderful fresh cooked meals such as Chilli con carne, Cajun Chicken pasta and Sausage and mash twice a week have been a delight for our residents. Feedback has been extremely positive with residents as young as 10 months enjoying the fresh cooked meals!

Nanny biscuit have also donated some dried goods which have been extremely helpful store cupboard staples for residents who have struggled financially during COVID-19.

Local Solutions operates two hostels in Flintshire supporting families (Plas Bellin) and single women (Sunraye). You can read more about these services here
