Need support?

Many people are having to 'shield' themselves from the virus and stay at home. For those without family and friends to support them and go to the shops, this is a very difficult thing for people to do. Fortunately there has been a huge national response to a call for volunteers to help those who can't leave the house. If you are in need of support, we have found some useful links for you:

During these unprecedented times, we're all facing new challenges everyday. Fortunately for many, we have support networks in place, in the form of family and friends. We're all facing a potentially lengthy period of lockdown to prevent the spread of this new virus. The potential impact on our mental health has been a topic of discussion over the past few days as some are already feeling the effects isolation, stress and uncertainty. On Friday 24th May we launched our new Young Persons' Hub. The hub will bring together our current services working with young people in Liverpool, providing an 'all in one place' service.

A Householder, Lisa, and Young person, Leaninna, from Wirral Supported Lodgings were featured on BBC Radio Merseyside and spoke about their experiences with the project.  Lisa spoke about what it is like to be a Householder as the program advertised the need for Householders in our projects across Merseyside and North Wales.
