We appreciate that there is a lot of concern at the moment in terms of Coronavirus and its implications. Local Solutions takes its duty of care to deliver services very seriously and has contingency plans in plans.
The safety of the people we care for and provide support to is our priority, along with the welfare of our staff.
We are closely monitoring the situation and Public Health England guidance - including specific guidance for social or community care and residential settings, which we are aware of and will follow. Public Health England’s current advice can be found Here.
We are regularly updating our staff across all of our services and in the community with the latest guidance, as the situation develops. We will post information to this webpage, if services are affected. If you have a concern about a service you access within Local Solutions, please contact the service.
Local Solutions Homecare: The Homecare service is operational, with some changes to the service. Service users will be alerted to changes that affect them.

We have amended the Homecare privacy notice to state that we may need to share personal info with other care providers under mutual agreement arrangements in order to continue services in a crisis. you can read the updated policy here
Liverpool Carers Centre: Health and Wellbeing activities are being delivered online until further notice and staff will be carrying out assessments via phone, rather than home visits. Carers who need any kind of support during this period, please do ring the Carers Centre on 0151 7052307 or 0151 7052308
Cherry Tree Extra Care Scheme: Please contact Cherry Tree House to discuss visiting arrangements on 07976914112.
Bullybusters: Support via Helpline and email remains open but schools work is on hold.
Young Persons' Hub (AIMS and Sports Horizon): The Hub is closed to young people but staff are in regular contact with young people and providing support remotely.
Supported Lodgings and Nightstop Services: Staff are predominantly providing support to Householders and Young People remotely but continue to take referrals. Referrals may take longer to process than normal and may be affected by risks around coronavirus.
Liverpool Shopmobility: To protect the health of our customers we have decided to close both of our shops. We understand this will be difficult for customers who rely on the service but in the meantime the staff will be keeping in touch with customers who are feeling isolated. Mytime Breaks: Mytime breaks are now suspended but the team are still available for anyone to talk to and they will be keeping in touch with carers who have registered with the service during this difficult time. Click here for more information.
Northern Conference Centre: Service is currently suspended
Domestic Abuse Services and Worst Kept Secret Helpline: We have ensured that our helpline for people affected by Domestic Abuse will be available throughout this crisis. Read more about advice for people affected by domestic abuse during this time on the dedicated Worst Kept Secret website.
