Try something new this year

Last year was a great year for us. Our generous and very brave supporters raised over £2250 by participating in sponsored events. Each participant chose which Local Solutions project they would raise money for, making a huge difference to those that really need support.

Money raised for the projects goes towards enriching the services we provide to vulnerable people. For example, some of our fundraisers have raised money for the Carers Emergency Fund, enabling us to support unpaid carers right when they need it most.

We’re always looking for more people to get involved in sponsored events. Are you planning on being more active this year? Set a goal of running a 10k, swimming long distance, or just going for a nice long walk. Use the motivation of being booked onto an event to help you make your new years resolution a reality.
