£2417 Raised as 5 staff Brave Liverpool Cathedral Abseil

 

5 staff took part in the Liverpool Cathedral Abseil on Saturday, 24th August.  They collectively raised an incredible £2417.46 for services within Local Solutions: Bullybusters, Carers Emergency Fund, Domestic Abuse services and Resettlement Passport. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported them so generously.

Each person taking part chose a cause close to their heart 

 

Steve Hawkins our Chief Executive raised money for Bullybusters. 

Kerry Mallaby raised money for the Cares Emergency Fund

Paul Ainger  raised money for the Carers Emergency Fund. 

Jenelle Corry raised money for the Early Help Domestic Abuse Service. 

Callum Barnet raised money for Bullybusters.

They all managed to raise an impressive £2417.46. The money will make a meaningful impact on vulnerable peoples lives.

On Friday 24th May we launched our new Young Persons' Hub. The hub will bring together our current services working with young people in Liverpool, providing an 'all in one place' service.

A Householder, Lisa, and Young person, Leaninna, from Wirral Supported Lodgings were featured on BBC Radio Merseyside and spoke about their experiences with the project.  Lisa spoke about what it is like to be a Householder as the program advertised the need for Householders in our projects across Merseyside and North Wales.
