It has been another busy year for the Homecare team who have delivered 592,000 hours of care to 1672 people. Over the last year the team took on new contracts in Knowsley and Sefton and welcomed new staff in these areas to the team. A new leadership team has been established, headed up by Judith Webb and there has been ongoing work to improve the terms and conditions for care support workers. This has started with the offer of contracted hours in some areas and improved opportunities for career progression.

During the event, Nigel Lanceley, Chair of Trustees and David Ellis, Director of Strategy, Performance and Communications at Local Solutions and thanked the Homecare team for their hard work and support with the growth of the service over the last year. They recognised that many staff members have shown extraordinary commitment and tenacity to ensure the smooth transition into the new areas of work.
