Liverpool Carers get crafty

Carers across Merseyside, who are supported by the Liverpool Carers Centre, have been getting involved in a variety of artistry's during "Calming Craft Sessions".

In 2017 The Carer's Centre received a £300 grant from "Happy Older People" to buy resources for craft projects.

Since then the carers have been perfecting crafts such as needle felting, mosaic making and paper craft.

Arts and craft has been proven to reduce stress and help people to relax. This greatly benefits carers, whose role can often put a strain on their lives.
