The Pullman Hotel hosts Mytime carers for afternoon tea

 

 8 unpaid carers attended afternoon tea at the Pullman Hotel. The Hotel provided this complimentary break for them so that they could take a break from their demanding caring roles and enjoy some "Mytime" 

Mytime is a project that started in Liverpool Carers Centre as a way to give unpaid carers the opportunity to take some time to look after themselves. As often aims to connect carers who could benefit from a break from their demanding caring roles, with businesses offering complimentary leisure, cultural and educational activities.

The Pullman Hotel is a generous supporter of our "Mytime" project, previously hosting 50 carers for dinner as part of the Accor Hotel group's 50 years celebration.

Each Accor Group Hotel worldwide had to mark the birthday celebration along the theme #welcomeheroes. Neil Brailsford, General Manager of the Pullman in Liverpool choose to support Local Solutions' 'mytime' initiative by gifting an evening of dinner and entertainment for 50 carers. The team at the hotel were brilliant and their presence enhanced the evening which was enjoyed by all the carers who attended.  Carers were looked after from the moment they arrived until the moment they left.  One carer commented, "I felt special tonight".

 

The Mytime team would like to say a huge thank you to the Pullman for their continued generosity in supporting carers.
