Local Solutions explores launching a Fostering Agency

Local Solutions is exploring the possibility of launching a Fostering Agency which would support children in the Liverpool City Region.

Local Solutions has a long history of providing support for young people through our accommodation projects, family hostels, supported lodgings placements and specialist mentoring programmes.

The fostering agency would be not for profit and keep local children, of all ages, closer to their local areas.

We are currently seeking the views of a wide range of people about the project and inviting people who may be interested in becoming a foster carer to pre-register an interest.

The agency would be OFSTED registered and foster carers would need to be fully assessed and engage with training. Foster carers would receive competitive payments, round the clock support, and ongoing training as well as access to Local Solutions other specialist support services.

Please help us by taking part in our short survey, where you can help us to shape the service and also pre-register an interest in becoming a Foster Carer.
