Plas Bellin, our family support service in North Wales recently organised a fun day for all of the residents. Amongst the activities on the day were pony rides, and a snake and reptile show.
The fun day was a great chance for staff and residents to come together and spend some time doing some fun activities and give the kids something truly memorable. The activities included:
- Party fun bus for the children to engage in soft play
- Pony rides
- Snake and reptile show
- Celebrity Get Me Out of Here stall-challenge for all to face the tucker trials
- Face and nail painting
- Colouring competitions
- Guessing competitions
- Hotdog and candy floss stall
- Balloon making
- Cake stall
Plas Bellin Hall offers temporary supported accommodation for up to 23 families. Plas Bellin is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The support team, which consists of coordinators and support workers are responsible for providing coordinated support-including multi-agency working, to assist each service user in achieving outcomes identified from their individual support plans.
The aim of the project is to provide a high level of support, which will equip families with the necessary skills to maintain their own tenancy in the community independently.
