Corporate Fundraising

Supporting Local Solutions is a great way to motivate employees, improve your social value and engage your customers – all whilst helping a good cause. By working with us you can make a massive difference to the lives of the people we help.

There are a number of ways your organisation can get involved:

Employee Fundraising

Getting your employees involved can raise a lot of money and it also gives you the opportunity to carry out team building events. Examples include coffee mornings, marathons, bike rides or team challenges.

The benefits of this type of corporate fundraising include improved staff morale, increased teamwork and a positive atmosphere within the company.

Charity of the Year

Choosing Local Solutions as your charity of the year is an excellent opportunity to unite your staff and make them feel like they’re a real part of making a difference. We will work with you to ensure that the relationship is mutually beneficial , providing assistance with planning events or campaigns throughout the year. If you aren’t able to commit to helping us for the whole year why not make a charity of the month, week or even day.

Sponsor a Room, a worker…

We can offer sponsorship opportunities that are tailored to suit your objectives including events, campaigns or even rooms in our hostel. We will work closely with you to ensure that your sponsorship helps to raise awareness of your brand, through providing positive publicity.

Payroll Giving

Payroll giving allows employees to donate directly from their salary. The donation is taken before tax meaning a £5 donation only actually costs a standard rate tax payer £4.

Your organisation needs to register with a payroll giving agency (you can find a list here) and then employees can sign up to the scheme.

Every year the Liverpool Carers Centre celebrates the hard work of unpaid carers across the city. In a normal year these celebrations are marked with a large event for carers to attend, access additional support, meet other carers and to most importantly have a bit of fun while they take a short break from their caring role. Due to the circumstances this year, it wasn’t possible to bring everyone together. However the importance of doing something for carers has never been more important so we planned a different way to celebrate the week.
