Get Involved

Your fundraising can really help to make a difference to the lives of the people our services support. There are a number of ways you can get involved.

Get Sponsored

Sponsored events are a great way to do something different and raise money at the same time. It could be a sponsored walk, a run or a fun day – whatever you feel comfortable doing. You don’t even have to organise it yourself as there are plenty going on that you could take part in, take a look at some useful websites:

Once you have decided what you want to do and which project you want to support, let us know by contacting Hannah or Mark via This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or Telephone (0151 705 2338).

You can also download our handy sponsorship form here.

Run an event

This could be anything from organising a coffee morning to a bingo night. Whatever you decide to do, we can help by providing advice and support. Here’s some ideas to get you started:

  • A cake sale is a fun way to raise money and it’s easy to organise too. You can get friends, family, neighbours or colleagues involved
  • Been thinking of having a clear out for a while? Why not organise a clothes swap so you can get rid of them bags of clothes, get yourself a new wardrobe AND raise money for a good cause.

Sponsor a room / a worker

We’re looking for individuals and businesses who will sponsor a room, in one of our hostels or a support worker. Take a look at the options here.

Payroll Giving

Make a donation to a Local Solutions project directly out of your salary each month. This is the most tax efficient way to give, as the donation is taken before tax.

A £1 donation will cost basic rate tax payers 80p and higher rate tax payers 60p.

Your employer needs to be set up with a payroll giving scheme so speak to your payroll department to find out how to donate. Contact us for more information.
