Volunteers are valuable assets to the Local Solutions team, making significant contributions to many of our projects and services. Not only will you learn new skills and knowledge as a volunteer, but you will also have the opportunity to assist others in the local community, meeting new people and gaining new experiences along the way. This can lead to increased employment prospects, as well as increased self-confidence to go on and achieve what you want to do.
Volunteers will be provided with training and given subsidence costs including lunch and travel expenses. We also hold an annual volunteers lunch to show our appreciation for all the hard work our volunteers do.
