As a long-standing and major player in the third sector in the North West, Local Solutions has built up a reputation for quality of service and for targeting areas of greatest need.  

Sponsorship is an ideal way of investing in good causes as it not only raises awareness of your business, it also highlights your support within the local community. We are always appreciative of new sponsors to help us to maintain and develop our services. There are many ways that you can sponsor Local Solutions work:

Newsletter/ leaflets and literature:  Local Solutions produces a quarterly newsletter to promote our work. Copies of the newsletter are circulated to funders, partner organisations, local businesses, MP’s, dignitaries, schools and various charitable and statutory agencies. Estimated readership of the publication is 10,000. We also produce leaflets and handouts for each individual service area we operate, which are also mailed to a wide range of similar sources. Our literature is displayed and distributed at various high profile events, including National Carers Week.

Sponsoring one of our publications would involve incorporating your company name and logo within the specific publication to highlight your support.

 Merseysport:   Our unique watersports centre is based in Queen’s Dock, Liverpool. The centre is adjacent to the Albert Dock which is not only the number one tourist attraction in Liverpool but also the most visited multi-use attraction in the UK outside of London. It is also a five minute walk from the new Liverpool One Retail and Leisure Complex and the Liverpool Echo Arena.  Merseysport is a not for profit facility offering sessions in sailing, canoeing and windsurfing to the whole community. We work in conjunction with Liverpool City Council to offer free watersports sessions to Liverpool school children during half terms.

There are many ways to sponsor the Centre – this can include advertising your company name and logo on a sail, or on one of the boats, to naming a boat after an individual/business or even sponsorship of the Centre.
