Home Insulation
Don’t suffer from cold and draughts within your home this
winter
Call Local Solutions Keep Warm Project
The Keep Warm
project was set up by Local Solutions in 1985 to address the
problems of fuel poverty by providing a team of workers to
undertake home insulation measures.
Fuel poverty is linked to a combination of factors – low
income, inefficient and costly heating systems and poorly insulated
houses: it affects millions of householders in the United Kingdom
who simply cannot afford sufficient warmth.
Specific groups are particularly vulnerable to fuel poverty –
these include older people, low-income families, lone parents and
disabled people.
Keep Warm can refer clients to the national Warm Front Scheme,
which provides Home Insulation measures through eligible
grants that are available under Scheme. All grants are benefit based. To check eligibility call Keep

for general DIY around the home. All jobs are undertaken to the
highest standard and no job is too small. The list of work
includes painting, re-siting and removal of furniture, cleaning
gutters, and fitting bannisters and grab rails, amongst
others. All prices are offered at a reduced
