Set up in 2002, the successful programme allows us to provide a free and confidential service to all clients within the organisation. Funded by the KPMG Foundation, this much-needed resource has provided clients with the opportunity to access further training, employment and develop their existing skills and confidence. We offer screening and full psychological assessments in order to identify dyslexia and once identified, students are offered specialised training and support programmes. The services within the programme are free of charge to all users of Local Solutions’ services and we invite all clients to access the programme if they require assistance.

We are experiencing a high demand for this service and carry out regular staff training sessions to our teachers and tutors in order to develop the awareness of the issue and create a more dyslexia friendly environment within the classrooms.
