AIMS (Accommodation, Intense Mentoring, Skills
The aims programme supports young homeless people in Liverpool and Knowsley aged between 18-24 to transform their lives.
The aims programme is funded by the Fair Chance Fund which is a joint initiative of the Department for Communities and Local Government and the Cabinet Office.
Who can access aims?
18 - 24 years olds who are not in education, employment or training and have difficulty in accessing specialised young person’s accommodation.
What is aims?
Helping you to source, secure and sustain your own place.
Supporting you by building a working alliance with an experienced Mentor who will support you to overcome barriers, improve wellbeing and develop capacity towards successful independence.
Developing you through access to high quality training, education and routes into employment via a specialist college that understand your needs.

- £5 daily attendance allowance

How aims can help...
aims mentors at Local Solutions will ‘get alongside’ you and become a consistent presence and enabler throughout your engagement in the programme.
Support is tailored to the individual - this can be a response to a crisis, provision of advice, guidance and resources, advocating on your behalf, or helping promote independence.
