Welfare Rights Service
Are you in receipt of welfare benefits?
Are you certain that you are receiving your full entitlement? Would you like independent and confidential advice?
Then why not contact our FREE advisory service at Local Solutions.
Every year millions of pounds go unclaimed by people who are
entitled to welfare benefits. While some are unaware that
they qualify, others are put off by the claims and appeals
processes. To address this, Local Solutions offers a free,
independent benefits advice service to Liverpool residents,
particularly older citizens, carers and people who are
disabled.
Qualified caseworkers are available at our Hall Lane headquarters
to assist with:
- general enquiries about welfare benefits
- benefit checks, to ensure that individuals receive their correct
entitlement
- completion of complex claim forms such as Disability Living
Allowance and Incapacity Benefit For Work
- representation at Social Security Commissioners and Appeals
Tribunals
The Team offers a quality assured service. It is contracted by the
Legal Services Commission (LSC) to provide welfare benefits advice
and it adheres to the Specialist Quality Mark, as laid down by the
LSC, in all its work, both legal aided and non-legal aided. The
service also receives funding from Liverpool City Council.
