Activities Programme
Homeground is very much concerned with the health and recreational
interests of its residents and has developed a wide range of
activities in which they can take part.
Regular football matches are arranged and special events and
tournaments against other agencies are frequent.
Homeground links in with Local Solutions Mobex project to provide a
weekly activities programme where residents can experience a range
of outdoor pursuits and leisure opportunities such as canoeing,
climbing, hill walking, team games, badminton and golf.
The hostel also has regular activity nights where residents can
play indoor games including pool and table football.
Residents have a unique opportunity of purchasing bicycles
from Homeground’s “bike shop” - a workshop within
the hostel where unused bicycles are repaired and sold at an
affordable rate.
