Local Solutions has had a profound impact in helping young homeless people through its various pioneering schemes - these are:
Homeground - a hostel providing accommodation combined with
support for homeless people between the age of 16 and 35.
Supported Lodgings - a project which provides family style accommodation and support to homeless young people between the ages of 16 and 25
Intense Mentoring – offers support to people between the ages of 18 – 25 years and has a history of cyclical stays within hostels or short term accommodation.
Nightstop Service, Wales – provides a safety net to vulnerable young people at a difficult time in their lives usually after they are forced to leave home often due to family breakdown.
Plas Bellin Hall, Wales – offering temporary supported accommodation for up to 23 single parents and families in cottages, flats and shared facility rooms
Sunraye, Wales (Female Only) – offering single homeless females
between the ages of 16 and 65, supported accommodation with the added benefit
of holistic and wrap around support.
Floating Support, Wales – supports families during the transition of moving from our supported accommodation into independent accommodation within the county of Flintshire.
Resettlement Passport - a pre-tenancy course developed by Local Solutions to help young or vulnerable people prepare to move into their own tenancies
Aims - (Accommodation - Intense Mentoring - Skills) Supports young homeless people in Liverpool and Knowsey aged between 18 and 24 to transform their lives.
