ITQ - IT Office Applications

Course Content:  

ITQ is a national recognised full Level 2 and 3 IT Users qualification that is flexible and allows candidates to choose IT skills they need to develop.  The qualification is set by employers to meet standards at work in using standard Office IT applications.  It allows candidates a bridge to new opportunities at work, maybe even promotion or a new job.  This qualification is a full level 2 or 3.

An ITQ qualification is an excellent choice as this is a flexible qualification that allows candidates to choose IT modules at the beginners, intermediate up to advanced level to suit their needs.  Candidates may choose to develop and further improve their IT skills in a range of IT areas.  MS Office applications including MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Internet & Email.

Individual learners who are not employed will attend college one day per week to study the ITQ programme.

What The Course Leads To:  

Students can progress to an advanced level IT course or to employment.

Qualifications:  

ITQ Level 2 or 3.

Entry Requirements:  

All applicants for the course will be interviewed, including undertaking a basic skills assessment required to make sure that the course is appropriate.  Level 2 and 3 candidates should have at least level 1 IT qualification or equivalent skills.

When the Course Runs:  

(College based) ITQ is delivered in a workshop environment one day per week over a 36 week period.

(Employed) – (Workbased) candidates may attend upto to 6 hours weekly workshop sessions in the college. The course is roll on during academic year, and takes approximately nine months to achieve or if employed by individual arrangement if working in the industry.

Courses start in September, however candidates may be accepted on the ITQ programme at any time during the year provided that the attendance hours maybe arranged at the level required to complete the qualification within a year.

Course Fees:  

Free to unemployed with fee remission.
