The Merseyside Accommodation Project (MAP), a homeless project within Local Solutions are appealing for volunteer householders to join their scheme.

MAP, which was established in 1986 in response to the growing number of homeless young people in Merseyside, provides safe and secure family-style accommodation to 16-18 year olds who have been forced to leave their own homes.

The project relies on people who have a spare room in their home to look after a homeless young adult and have an interest in their personal development. Generous financial support is available to all householders.
