The Nurseries and Educare Centres across Merseyside run by the charity Local Solutions are preparing ready for a summer full of activities to make the holiday a memorable one.

During the school holiday period, a programme of supervised activities are offered to children involved in our play-schemes whose ages range between 4-12. As part of the play-schemes our team of qualified staff take the children to visit places of interest and provide a programme of fun to enable them to participate in sports and games. 

This summer will see the children enjoying water sports activities at the charity’s’ Merseysport Centre on Queens Dock, Teddy Bear Picnics and much more

The holidays will also provide the children in the ‘Schools Out’ facility at St Marie’s in Kirkby with some interesting experiences. The children, aged 5-12 will receive visits and take part in activities, which in the past has included talks from wildlife experts and visits to plays and museums.
