Louise Ellman MP welcomed for a tour of services

We were delighted to welcome Louise Ellman, Labour/Co-operative MP for Liverpool Riverside, to Local Solutions for a tour of our services.  

Louise was accompanied on the visit by Catrin Owen, an intern from her political office. 

The tour commenced with an introduction to Senior Manager Mark Rogers who oversees our Enhancement services to learn more about our achievements in reducing youth unemployment through delivering the government’s Work Programme.   

There was then an opportunity to visit our Scotland Road base to meet with our staff who provide a range of support within our hostel for young homeless people.

The tour concluded with some interesting discussions about the work of our helpline teams that offer support for young people affected by bullying, as well as people affected by domestic violence.
