MP invited to discuss unemployment  

Esther McVey, Conservative MP for Wirral West visited Local Solutions on 13th April.

Esther is the Parliamentary Private Secretary (PPS) to Chris Grayling, Minister of State at the Department for Work and Pensions, with responsibility for employment.

Esther met with Chief Executive Steve Hawkins and Mark Rogers, Senior Manager, Enhancement, to discuss the Government’s plans to assist unemployed people get back into the job market including the new Work Programme that will be introduced this summer.

Mark explained to Esther that this will be building on the success of our delivery of training and unemployment programmes over the last 30 years.
