Local Solutions were delighted to welcome one of its Trustees , Neil Scales, to Liverpool Shopmobility on Friday, September 19th.

Neil is the Chief Executive and Director General of Merseytravel who have kindly contributed £25,000 towards essential mobility equipment for the store - which is now located in the prestigious Liverpool ONE development. This is a welcome boost to the service and will enable Shopmobility to cope with the increased demand on the service.

Staff welcomed Neil and gave him a tour around the new premises and updated him on how being situated in the heart of Liverpool’s most vibrant shopping and leisure complex has made a successful impact on the service they provide to the city’s disabled community.

Neil commented, "I am very impressed with the facilities and more than happy to help publicise the valuable services that are on offer to Merseytravel’s users."
