Keep Warm, the home insulation project within Local Solutions will be participating in the annual Winter Survival Campaign organised by Liverpool City Council.

The Campaign this year began with a successful Information Fair at St George’s Hall on Friday 19th November. A number of free events will be running over the next few months to help people by offering advice on keeping warm, energy efficiency measures and a range of information about accessing grants and benefits. The events are as follows;

1st December - Pakistan Centre, Mulgrave Street
9th December - Bridge Chapel, Heath Road, Garston
20th January - Blessed Sacrament Parish Centre, Park Vale Road
17th February - Lee Valley Millennium Centre, Childwall Valley Road.

Organisations attending this year include, among others: Liverpool City Council, ScottishPower, Age Concern Liverpool, C.A.B, British Gas, the Pension Service, and the N.H.S.

Keep Warm was set up in 1985 to address the problems of fuel poverty by providing a team of workers to undertake home insulation measures. These effective measures have consequently had a profound effect in improving the quality of life for many disadvantaged people.

Thousands of residents in Liverpool and Wirral have benefited from the draughtproofing, loft pipe and cavity wall insulation measures offered by the Keep Warm Project.
