The aim is to build literacy and creative skills and all successful poems will be included in the My First Poem Anthology - Little Voices from Liverpool. The youngsters were presented with certificates and various literary-related gifts.
The book will be on sale from 31st October and the talented w
riters who will see their work in print are: Megan Smith and Elle Moss (both aged five), Holly Byrne (aged six), Faye Murphy (aged seven), Taylor Hale (aged eight), Caitlin Conyard (aged nine) and Alice Conyard and Jemma Taylor (both aged ten).
