Male staff receive expert guidance on health issues

Local Solutions continued to support and encourage its staff to kick start a healthier lifestyle during Liverpool’s ‘Year of Health & Wellbeing’ by welcoming Everton FC Premier League Health through its doors today.

Premier League Health is a project which offers men aged between 18 and 35 a chance to improve their health by accessing trained exercise and health professionals free of charge. They were on hand in Local Solutions' headquarters on Mount Vernon Green to meet with staff. 

As well as valuable advice and guidance on matters such as obesity, smoking, cancer, substance/alcohol misuse, mental health and sexual health, the team were on hand to weigh, measure and take the blood pressure of those seeking to improve their overall lifestyle – of whom there were many.
