Local Solutions\' staff donate to Claire House Children\'s Hospice
Staff from a number of Local Solutions' departments donated over 60 Easter Eggs to benefit children attending Claire House Children’s Hospice.
The organisation was delighted to be involved in such a worthwhile appeal helping to make Easter a little more special
A group of children who attend the University of Liverpool
Children’s Centre, which is managed by Local Solutions,
helped to present the eggs to Val Shannon, Area
Co-ordinator, on Wednesday 19th March 2008, following their annual Easter Bonnet Parade.
Claire House Children’s Hospice in Bebington, Wirral is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for children of all ages with life threatening or life limiting conditions
Area co-ordinator, Val Shannon said, “We are really grateful to receive so many eggs from Local Solutions which will be given to the children and their siblings attending Claire House this Easter. Such initiatives help to raise awareness of the invaluable work of the Hospice, which relies totally on donations to support children and families from Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales and the Isle of Man.”
Many thanks to all involved for making this appeal so successful.
