Merseysport promote active lifestyles  

Local Solutions’ Merseysport project helped kick off Liverpool’s Year of Health & Wellbeing 2010 by taking part in the Liverpool Festival of Health and Activity. The free event at Wavertree Tennis Centre took place on Sunday 7th February and attracted hundreds of local people all keen to find out about active lifestyle opportunities in the area.  

Merseysport’s Operational Manager, Nick Lynch commented; “This was a great opportunity and just one of the many things we are doing to raise our profile within the local community. As well as potential customers, we were able to make links with local organisations with the potential for future partnership. The team did a great job on the day.”
