Employee Awards 2009

Local Solutions’ annual employee awards took place on December 18^th in front of a packed hall within the headquarters at Mount Vernon Green.

Staff from all departments and sites of the organisation including Scotland Road, MAP Wirral and Homecare Manchester to name but a few were present on the day.

Speeches were given by Chief Executive, Steve Hawkins and Chairman, Robert Owen who highlighted key events for Local Solutions throughout 2009 and conveyed their appreciation of all the hard work of its employees.

Awards were presented to Homecare Manchester for the Equality of Opportunity category (pictured above). The Carers Project at Local Solutions (pictured below) won the Team of the Year award. The category of Outstanding Service Delivery was presented to Dave Cook of Merseysport who was unable to attend the event but his manager, Nick Lynch, accepted it on his behalf.

Winners were presented with a bottle of bubbly, commemorative plaque and engraved trophy to mark the occasion.
