Ho Ho Ho-meground's Christmas lunch held!

HomegHomeground staff at the Christmas lunchround hosted its annual Christmas lunch on December 4th where guests included residents of the hostel (past and present) as well as representatives from collaborative agencies.

Certificates of appreciation were presented to numerous organisations such as Fag Ends, So to Speak, Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service, Comino Foundation, NHS Community Food Workers and Streets Ahead amongst others.

A speech was given by an ex-resident of Homeground who spoke of his experience of living in the hostel and how he had managed to turn his life around with the support and help of its staff and his journey from living at Homeground through resettlement and onto independent living.

Ros Phillips and Patrick Waite of the Comino Foundation presented a cheque to hostel manager, Joey Neill, for which he expressed his sincere gratitude. The funds had been raised from a musical performance held at Ormskirk Parish Church.
