Naughty but nice!

An array of cakes, biscuits, chocolates and hot and cold drinks were on offer at the Northern Conference Centre today in aid of Macmillan's World's Biggest Coffee Morning.

The delicious cakes and biscuits were kindly baked by staff members and also donated by Tesco whilst fruit and flowers for the raffle  were given by Paul Flannery - a local grocer.

A total of £138.15 was raised by staff of Local Solutions for the fund-raising campaign. Winners of the raffle were Malcolm Pearson - who won a basket of cakes and biscuits, Lindsey Kelly who took the second prize of a bunch of flowers and Janet Tynan won third prize of a hamper of fruit.

The event is aimed at supporting people who live with cancer and primarily to improve their quality of life. Organisers from the Northern Conference Centre thanked everyone for getting involved and showing their support to such a worthwhile cause.
