Every Little Helps! 

Local Solutions furthered its acquaintance with Michael Kissman, Corporate Affairs Manager of Tesco, when he recently toured the Scotland Road site, which houses a number of services that provide support to people in the community.

Having initially attended Local Solutions’ 35^th anniversary celebrations in April at the House of Lords, Mr. Kissman was so touched upon hearing accounts from two service users of how the organisation had helped to turn their lives around, that he then requested an invitation to visit the organisation.

Accompanied by Jo Frith, Tesco’s Community Development Manager, Mr Kissman met with staff from Bullybusters, MAP and Homeground. Local Solutions is looking to work closely with Tesco on their community programmes and community development.
