Pamper Day for Carers

On 10^th July, Liverpool Carers Centre (based at Local Solutions’ headquarters) held a ‘pamper day’ for carers, in recognition of Dementia Awareness Week.

Carers who look after loved ones with dementia were invited along to the day where they received manicures, hand massages and Reiki from students of the Northern College of Beauty. Cream teas with strawberries and clotted cream scones were also enjoyed.

The day was a chance for carers to relax and enjoy themselves and proved to be a great success with both male and female carers receiving some well-deserved indulgence.
