Homecare Expands Into Halton 
Homecare has recently been awarded a contract to deliver over 1000 hours of domiciliary care per week in the Widnes area.
The service will commence from 30th March 2009 and will provide care to approximately 170 service users. Homecare will look to grow in the area and deliver more hours of care as the contract progresses.
Areas to be covered by Local Solutions' Homecare service within Widnes will include Broadheath, Ditton, Hale, Hough Green, Riverside, Appleton, Birchfield, Farnworth, Kingsway and Halton View.
Meanwhile staff from the Homecare service were pleased to participate in a ‘Stakeholder Event’, held in Widnes on 19th February, as a way of introducing themselves to local people, council officials and other care providers and it was an ideal opportunity for people involved in the care sector to come together and network.
Representatives from various care providers attended on the day and were given the opportunity to share thoughts, ideas and information with each other on subjects surrounding the care sector.
Homecare currently provide 16,500 hours of domiciliary care per week in Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton, Wirral and Manchester and are always looking to recruit staff. There are also part and full time vacancies now available in the Widnes area. If interested please call 0151 705 2333.
