Employee Awards 2008

The Local Solutions annual staff awards, in which employees' exceptional efforts are highlighted and rewarded, took place on 19^th December 2008.

Organisation Chairman, Robert Owen, presented winners with an engraved plaque and bottle of bubbly. Congratulations to the winners of each of the four categories - highlighted below:  

The C7 Clean Team were awarded Team of the Year – a category which recognises a team that has successfully performed above and beyond normal expectations.

Lindsey Kelly  won Outstanding Service Delivery - an award recognising a particular action where a member of staff went above and beyond their job role to ensure an excellent service was delivered.

Carole Turner won the Equality of Opportunity award - in which a specific action(s) is recognised that has had a positive impact on improving the quality of life of another.

 This year’s new award of Lifetime Achievement was presented to George Owens who has worked within the Horticulture department for 18 years.

Runners up for awards included:

 Russell Murphy, Jenny Smedley, Human Resources, Merseysport, Elizabeth Miller and Northwood Children’s Centre

All were praised for their dedication to the organisation.
