Winter Survival Information Fayre

The 2008 Winter Survival Information Fayre took place onBecky Shaw of Keep Safe & Warm informing the public of help and services available. Wednesday, 19th November, at St George’s Hall in Liverpool.

The event - which was attended by over 300 people this year - is organised by Liverpool City Council and held annually to help vulnerable people during the winter months.

Opened by the Lord Mayor, Councillor Steve Rotherham, the fayre saw several organisations and charities on hand to offer advice and information on topics such as reducing fuel bills, energy grants and healthy eating.

Agencies in attendance included Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service, Merseyside Police, The Pension Service, EAGA/Warm Front, Liverpool PCT and many more.
