Homeless Football Team is launched
A number of young people from Local Solutions’ Homeground
Project have joined the Liverpool Homeless Football Club which is
associated with the Liverpool County FA.
The Club organises regular football games for homeless people which
has helped to improve their physical and mental health.
Homeground would like to convey sincere thanks to the following
organisations:
Venture Housing who have provided funding to purchase a new
football kit Community Health Ambassador Team (CHATS) who have organized water,
fruit, masseuses and physiotherapists The Power League who provide free access to their facilities in
Whittle Street, L5 for every match.
